Brewhouse

Malt mill (grinder)

mill.pngMill is designed for milling the malt. Coarseness of milling is regulated by adjusting the gap between the rolls of the mill. Mill is situated on a metal frame-based. Milled malt enters the bag at the bottom of the mill.

Lauter tun (filter vat)

Lauter tun is intended for lautering of wort that means separation of wort from malt grain, separation of solid and liquid phase, sedimentation of solid residues.

Vertical, cylindrical, double wall stainless steel tank with conical bottom (15°) and spherical (dome) upper part equipped with service dual-wing doors hatch.

Lauter tun is equipped with lattice agitator. The agitator is intended for loosening the malt grains inside the lautering tank.

Above the bottom is placed the flat plate – sieve with slits. The cylindrical part and the bottom of the tank are insulated with mineral-fibre material.

Lauter tun is set on three legs, height adjustable.

Mash tun (brew kettle)

The mash tun is intended for blending the malt grist with warm water and splitting the starch to form a sugar solution, for boiling the wort with hops and getting hopped wort.

Vertical, double walled, cylindrical tank made of the stainless steel with spherical (dome) upper part and conical bottom.On the side of the dome-shaped top part the service hatch situated, equipped with dual-wing doors, and is intended for servicing the mash tun.

The set of the mash tun includes steam condenser, stainless steel flaps, valves and joints, also electric cables.  The mash tun is equipped with the agitator with two blades, which is driven by an electric motor. Operating of mash tun is accomplished by the central control panel of the mash tun.

Hot liquor vessel (boiler)

The hot liquor vessel is used as a tank of preparation and storage of hot water used in the future in the process of brewing the beer.

Vertical, double-walled, cylindrical tank made of stainless steel insulated with mineral-fibre material with a spherical (dome) upper part and a conical bottom.

On the side of the dome-shaped upper part is placed the service hatch, equipped with dual-wing doors, designed for servicing the tank.

The supplementation of hot water from the tank into the lauter tun and mash tun is accomplished by a pump, which is included in the set of SN-01 system of monitoring and adjusting the flow of wort, filtration and cooling of beer.

Control of the boiler operation is accomplished by the central control panel of the brewhouse.

Hot water is obtained in two ways:

–         heating the water inside the hot liquor vessel is carried out by three electric heaters;

–         reversing hot water obtained by cooling the beer in the heat exchanger;

central control panel.pngIt is used for control the operation of the brewhouse in semiautomatic mode. Temperature settings are displayed on the digital displays.

System for monitoring and adjusting the flow of wort

The brewhouse includes the system of visual monitoring and adjusting the flow of wort. The system contains of the glass tower , sensors, heat exchanger, at least 3 pumps, piping system with coarse and fine filters and all necessary cables and their protection.

Fermentation plant

Conical unitank – fermenter

Tank is used for receiving hopped wort, which comes from the mash tun through the heat exchanger for fermentation and conditioning. Fermentation tank is a vertical, double-walled, thermal insulated cylindrical stainless steel tank with a spherical (dome) upper part and conical bottom. The cylindrical and conical part of the tank are equipped with the separate two cooling jacket, which cools the fermenting beer.

Bright beer (service) tank

bright beer tankService tank is a vertical, double-walled, thermal insulated cylindrical stainless steel tank with a spherical (dome) upper part and spherical bottom. The tank used to receive beer from unitank and is designed to store the finished beer. Cylindrical part is equipped with a cooling jacket, for cooling the beer, which is stored in the tank. Cylindrical part and the bottom of the tank are thermal insulated with mineral-fibre material. At the side of the upper dome part of the tank is a cylinder with a temperature sensor, which data are displayed on individual control panel. The bottom of the tank equipped with a nozzle for filling beer into keg-barrels.
